This is an amazing model. It has ‘BOUNTY’ painted on the stern but it’s not the famous Bounty. This one looks like a Tudor ship, like The Mary Rose rather than an 18th century ship like Captain Bligh’s The Bounty.
I bought it about 14 years ago from the gift shop at Mountfitchet Castle where they sell second hand ornaments and toys. It is pictured here with a model of the moon behind it.
